Powder Coating
Powder coating is a thermosetting polymer applied to metal surfaces and cured in our 12′ x 12′ x 26′ batch oven. This high-temperature process creates a chemical reaction that interlocks the coating molecules, forming a strong, durable, and visually stunning finish. Compared to traditional paint, powder coating offers superior resistance to wear, weather, and corrosion.
Media Blasting (Sandblasting)
Media blasting is a crucial step in surface preparation. Using high-velocity abrasive substrates, this process removes rust, paint, and old coatings while etching the metal to ensure maximum adhesion for the new powder coat.
Chemical Stripping
For delicate and precise restorations, chemical stripping uses solvents to dissolve paint and powder coatings without damaging the underlying material. This method is ideal for intricate parts and sensitive surfaces, ensuring a clean slate for a fresh new finish.
Steam Pretreat & Degreasing
Proper cleaning and pretreatment are essential for a high-quality powder coat. Our steam unit effectively cleans metal surfaces, removes grease, and etches the surface for better adhesion, resulting in a smooth, even finish, a securely bonded coating, and enhanced corrosion protection to extend the life of your metal.
